They service mining, food manufacturing, ports and bulk materials handling. With multiple offices they are continuing to broaden their range of products and services Key Accountabilities Conduct engineering design- Liaise closely with drafting team to take projects from design through manufacturing and to installation Project Engineering / Management and contract management - understand / interpret scope documents (time / cost / quality) including development of contract and tender documents Some site work at times – site set up / guide the construction methodology – including temporary works and lifting requirements and subsequent commissioning Help resolve any unclear issues with the workshop to optimise manufacturability Weekly / fortnightly report to clients to keep them informed Required Background Mechanical Engineer – Likely will have 5-10 years’ work experience, but more seasoned campaigners also encouraged to apply. Understanding of codes such as AS3990 (Mechanical Equipment) and / or AS4100 (Steel structures) Well versed in reading / interpreting 2D detail drawings and 3D models RPEQ or CPEng, or willing to obtain Not Essential, but well regarded 3D Modelling and FEA (using Inventor, SolidWorks, other) Space Gass To apply please call Dan Kery BEng on 0406 537 706.
