About the Role

This Australian business provides construction, asset management and maintenance services to the civil sector throughout Australia. Continued growth has led to the need for a new Civil Supervisor, initially on night shift till likely Feb. Salary will be negotiated to attract the right person. Ideally you have :   Sound knowledge of concrete testing and curing requirements Basic knowledge of formwork and reinforcement Ability to do material take offs for formwork, reinforcement steel and concrete Experience with job steps for basic structures e.g. culvert bases and headwalls, bridges and in-situ retaining walls If you have any background with tendering and/or main roads structures, that would be a bonus   The Role    Go to site to assist with site issues and communication with client and our supervisors Good communication skills to effectively work through specifications and work procedures with the client Ability to track costs, variations Assist or lead tenders regarding “structures” and pricing variations Assisting with monthly progress claims and forecasting This position would require a team player as it would be a key figure within our civil construction side of the business Please call Dan Kery BEng 0406 537 706 (weekend / after hours included) to discuss.
